Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Front-End Developer with strong expertise in React and Redux Toolkit to develop and maintain our web applications. This is a part-time contract position requiring 6 hours per day with flexible scheduling. The initial 3-month contract is renewable based on performance and project needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js
Implement state management solutions using Redux Toolkit
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate mockups into high-quality code
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices
Debug and troubleshoot application issues
Stay updated with latest front-end technologies and industry trends
Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in front-end development
Strong proficiency in React.js and its core principles
Extensive experience with Redux Toolkit for state management
Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
Experience with responsive design and CSS frameworks
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
Understanding of modern build tools and workflows (Webpack, npm/yarn)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time schedule
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with TypeScript
Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less)
Experience with component libraries (Material-UI, Metronic)
Understanding of web performance optimization
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Contract Terms
